Gray's School of Art - Design & Production of Awards

Gray’s School of Art is one of Scotland’s four art schools and is an integral part of Robert Gordon University (RGU) in Aberdeen. The School has supported the Offshore Achievement Awards for the past 6 years by running a competition with 3rd year students. The students are tasked with designing the OAA award trophy and the winning design is then manufactured and presented to winners on the night itself. This year, students are part of the 3D - Ceramics and Glass/Jewellery/Product Design course. The course allows students to develop a wide range of Three Dimensional Design skills, reflecting the multidisciplinary nature of professional design practice. Project briefs focus on technologies, materials and processes to turn concepts into realities.
