OGIC Support Innovation at Offshore Achievement Awards

September 2015

We are delighted to welcome on board the Oil & Gas Innovation Centre (OGIC) as our 2016 Innovator Award sponsor.

The Innovator Award continues to be a hugely popular category which recognises technological innovations in the industry which contribute to reducing costs, increasing reliability, maximising recovery of hydrocarbon reserves and/or improving the capture of renewable energy.

OGIC are a perfect fit for the category in that they foster, encourage and fund technology innovation, connecting oil and gas companies with innovative projects to the world-class research expertise and facilities that exist within Scotland’s universities.

Ernie Lamza, Chief Operating Officer of OGIC says:

“Innovation is fundamental to the oil and gas industry. At the Oil & Gas Innovation Centre (OGIC) we are delighted to sponsor the Innovator award at the 2016 Offshore Achievement Awards, and look forward to seeing some great ideas, great products and great companies. OGIC's involvement in the OAA reflects our commitment to fostering and encouraging innovation in this industry.”

As a new sponsor for 2016, OGIC joins our incredible group of award category sponsors, some of whom have been supporting the Offshore Achievement Awards since the relaunch in 2011.

The support from our sponsors is very much appreciated and without their generosity, the Offshore Achievement Awards could not take place.

There are a limited number of sponsorship opportunities still available which deliver a range of benefits and excellent coverage at the event itself and beyond. To find out more about these opportunities, please contact us to request our 2016 brochure.
