N-Sea taking safety to a whole new level

September 2016

In the current climate, "efficiency" is a word used on a daily basis, with companies, and employees, looking to be more efficient, whilst maintaining quality and standards.

N-Sea know how important it is to keep safety at the forefront of their minds when considering how to make their technologies more efficient, and were rewarded for this commitment at the 2016 Offshore Achievement Awards.

Chief Operating Officer, Roddy James picked up the Safety Innovations Award on behalf of his team, and discusses with us what the award meant to the company, and how it has helped them in their business growth.

"Safety is at the heart of everything N-Sea does, and we were committed to taking diver safety to the next level by continually developing our TUP Diving System®. We’re extremely proud of our innovative technology and wanted to celebrate this with the wider industry, whilst also showcasing our capabilities for developing unique, efficient solutions.
"Innovation is inherent in all that we do and we’ve worked hard to ensure we’re responding to the industry’s needs by developing products that improve safety and efficiency. We’re committed to investing in research and development and continually explore the ways in which we can take our innovations to another level.
"All offshore subsea operations come with risks and challenges, but the TUP Diving System provides a safe way to increase time spent on the seabed at greater depths and is in a new league in terms of diver safety and cost efficiency. We believe it’s important to continually identify and develop pioneering technology, to provide sustainable and cost effective solutions that can support the industry for long-term growth.
"N-Sea has experienced significant growth and expansion since winning the Safety Innovations Award at the 2016 OAAs. We recently opened our first office in Abu Dhabi and appointed a Managing Director for the Middle East region, which was a fantastic step forward in our global growth strategy. We’ve also won several new contracts which is not only a clear reflection of our ability to always provide safe, sound and swift solutions for our clients, but also thanks to being recognised for safety at the Offshore Achievement Awards.

"We were delighted to have been recognised for our technological innovation and safe solutions, but most importantly, the team were extremely proud to have been acknowledged for their hard work and commitment."

Nominations will open 3 October for the Offshore Achievement Awards 2017. For more information on the categories and entry criteria, visit our nominations page, or contact us.
