Rachel Riley returns to Offshore Achievement Awards!

March 2018

We are delighted to announce that TV presenter and maths expert Rachel Riley will return to Aberdeen to host the 2018 Offshore Achievement Awards on 22 March.

Rachel is well known for her involvement with long-running quiz show Countdown and is also a regular panelist on comedy show 8 out of 10 Cats. Brought up in Essex, Rachel graduated from Oxford with a mathematics degree and is passionate about popularising maths and the sciences.

Ian Phillips, Chairman of award organisers SPE Aberdeen, said:

“We are delighted that Rachel will be joining us again to host this year’s Offshore Achievement Awards. She is always hugely popular with attendees, and her advocacy of science, technology, engineering and maths subjects is perfectly in tune with the aims of both SPE Aberdeen and the awards.

“With less than a month to go until the awards, and all our finalists offering something exceptional, this is a time to be proud of the great work going on in our industry. We can’t wait to reveal the winners.”

The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 22 March 2018 at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC). Book your tickets or table today!
