Gray's School of Art Trophy Competition Launches

October 2019

Each year, the Offshore Achievement Awards invites 3rd year students from Gray’s School of Art to take part in our trophy design competition.

15 students have been briefed for the 2020 awards and they are currently in the process of creating their prototypes. These models will be judged next week by representatives from SPE Aberdeen and Principal Sponsor, TAQA. It's always a very difficult choice to make as we see so many fantastic ideas.

We met with the students last week so they could take us through their concepts and thoughts so far. Taking place at TAQA House, this presentation gives the students the opportunity to pitch their ideas directly to the client and receive constructive feedback to take their ideas further. Judging by these presentations, we are in for a very tough time in deciding this year's winner and we wish all students the best of luck.

Find out more about last year's winner, Finlay Rintoul, in our news article.
