Finalist Spotlight: Oxford Flow

March 2020

CEO, Neil Poxon tells us more about Oxford Flow and the company's unique way of innovating.

We pride ourselves on not having any preconceived ideas of what the market requires.

“We prefer to engage with the customer early, and “think outside the box” to find the best solution. The fact we are a spin up from Oxford University, still based here, allows us to attract the brightest young engineers and have access to local testing facilities.”

We collaborate with market-leading companies in our key sectors.

“This allows us to develop and test our valves within their networks as the composition of these vary significantly. We share data on the valve performance to ensure the valves meet the industry and clients’ needs exactly, be it size, ease of installation, zero fugitive emissions, low maintenance or accurate flow-set points. This also offers a way to work in partnership with clients to make any adjustments or improvements.”

The team at Oxford Flow are delighted to be nominated for the Emerging Technology Award.

“If we were to win this it would be recognition of Oxford Flow’s passion and drive to create a truly fugitive emission free valve that supports the oil and gas industry reducing carbon emissions.”
