One of the energy industry’s best known and most respected professional organisations has re-launched the Offshore Achievement Awards, with the support of main sponsor Taqa Bratani. The Scottish Offshore Achievement Awards have a 25-year history of celebrating outstanding success in the oil & gas industry. Now the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Aberdeen section is building upon the established high profile of the awards by re-launching the Offshore Achievement Awards, with the 26th event taking place in March 2012.
TAQA Bratani is one of the fastest-growing exploration and production companies working on the UKCS.
The prestigious awards are open to entries from UK registered companies and, reflecting the growth reach of the North Sea industry, the Offshore Achievement Awards will be open to offshore renewables companies as well as the traditional oil and gas players.
As well as recognising exceptional business growth, the awards will focus in on particular innovations, safety breakthroughs and collaborative efforts contributing to ensure the UK remains at the forefront of the international energy scene. Individual success will also be highlighted through the Rising Star and Lifetime Achievement Awards.
The spectacular black tie awards ceremony will be held on Thursday 15 March at Ardoe House Hotel. A champagne reception will begin at 7pm with the dinner at 7.30pm. Carriages will be at 12.30pm. Tables of 10 are available at £1,000 plus VAT.
